Copper and Silver Clay: Inlay and Hollow Forms

Description:
In this 3-day workshop you will learn how to inlay silver clay in copper clay and how to use and to make molds for hollow forms.
On the first day you will make the copper part of a bead or a pair of earrings. These will be fired during the night and the following day.
On the second day you will learn how to use and make molds for hollow forms. You will be making different hollow forms that can be later assembled into necklaces or bracelets. Silver pieces will be fired overnight. Copper and bronze pieces will be fired during the third day or after the workshop is over.
On the third day we will make the silver part of the inlay pieces that were started on the first day. We will fire them with a torch and learn how to finish them and bring them to a smooth, matte finish.
Experience with metal clay is required.
