This will be the first time that Sherry will be teaching this workshop.
Create your own handbag art using bead embroidery, peyote stitch, back stitch, brick stitch edging and embellishment. Students will learn the basic stitches used in creating their own one of a kind hand bag. Covered in this class will also be the theory behind color and placement of beads and cabochons to develop an “art piece”. Due to the length of time it takes to create a bag, we will only be covering the front of the bag, but class will address how to cover the entire bag and hand bag handle.
Kits will be provided by instructor
Full kit containing all of the above except needles, threads, scissors, pen will be provided with all colors coordinating for a special student price of $190
A partial kit with handbag, Lacy’s Stiff Stuff, cabochons will also be available for $60. You will provide the beads and embellishments.
Two color choices will be available.
